Yes. Balance connects to your Google account in one authorisation, with no lengthy setup, and your documents and folders move between Balance and Drive so each one has a safe home.
Balance is made by LEYDEN S.R.L., an Italian company, and it comes out of years spent working on real events. It was built to answer a need its makers had themselves: to make the daily work of organising an event clearer and less tiring, for the planner and for the people whose day it is.
It is built around the way an event actually runs, not around a generic project board: briefing, budget, suppliers, guests, seating, run sheet, in that order. There is nothing to install and nothing to set up before you start. Your clients get their own area, so they can see where their event stands without having to ask you. And it is made in Italy, with your data on servers in the European Union.
Automatic syncing with Google Drive keeps an up-to-date backup of everything you upload. Each document stays safe, reachable and easy to retrieve at any moment.
If you choose to pay monthly, you can stop your subscription whenever you like, with no obligation to renew. If instead you subscribe annually, you have access to Balance for the whole period you chose. Should you decide to stop using it before that period ends, a refund will not be possible. Balance wants to be a calm, considered choice, always.
Yes, you can explore Balance and work in it free for 14 days. That gives you time to run a real event through it and see whether it is the right space for you and for the way you work.
Yes. The data you upload is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and access is limited to the people who genuinely need it to run the service. Balance handles your data and your clients' data under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the servers are in the European Union. The privacy policy sets out in detail what we collect, why, for how long, and who we share it with.
Of course. You can switch plan at any time, quickly and without friction, so Balance keeps pace with your business as it grows.
No. There is nothing to install. Balance runs in a browser — on a computer, a tablet or a phone — so all you need is an internet connection to pick up wherever you are.
Yes. Balance works on any device with a browser: computer, tablet and phone. The computer gives you more room on screen, and for setting things up — building a budget, arranging the seating — that is where you will be most comfortable. But for checking, replying and updating while you are out, a phone is plenty.

Yes. Your logo goes on the working documents Balance produces — timelines, seating lists, guest lists, budgets, quotes, supplier summaries — and on your clients’ own area, so what reaches them carries your name and not ours.
Yes. It suits a one-person studio particularly well: every project sits in one place, so less of the week goes on hunting for documents and retyping the same figures, and more of it on the work you were hired for.
No, Balance sets no particular limit on space. Upload the contracts, quotes, floor plans and mood boards your events need, without counting megabytes, and you will still find it all in order when you go looking.
Payments run through Stripe: you pay on Stripe’s own page, so card details never reach Balance. You choose monthly or annual billing when you pick your plan, and every plan is billed in euro, wherever you are based.
Yes. Balance is built around weddings, but the structure — briefing, timeline, suppliers, budget, run sheet — is what any organised event needs. There is a corporate setting that swaps couple for client, so a company event reads correctly, and private celebrations work the same way.
Yes, for the working documents: timelines, the seating list, the guest list in table order, the music running order, budget simulations, quotes, supplier summaries, payment recaps and invoices all export as PDFs, ready to print, to file or to send on.
Balance gives you a complete, straightforward set of working templates to run the day of the event calmly. You will have:

No, Balance is not a graphic design tool. It is a workspace for the organising side of an event, from the first briefing to the day itself. It does have interactive tools — seating handled on screen, where guests are placed by drag and drop on a plan of the room — and it puts your logo on the working documents it produces, so what your clients see is in your name.
Not a scale drawing of the venue, no — Balance will not produce one for you. What it does have is a plan you build yourself on screen: you set how many tables and of what type, drag them where you want them, and you can put a photograph or a drawing of the room behind them to work against. If your plan includes it, your clients can open the digital guest list and seat the guests themselves.
RSVP lets your clients collect replies from their own private area. If your subscription plan includes it, the couple get a page they can share with their guests, where each guest says whether they are coming and flags dietary needs or anything else you should know. The replies arrive in the guest list, and from there they carry through to the seating list and the run sheet.
